How to start and set up a new iPhone 2011

When you take out your brand new iPhone, iPod or an iPad from the box, the first thing you wonder about is how to switch it on? then how to insert a SIM, and even after inserting a SIM it doesn’t function, all it shows that a connection is needed to iTunes. Just follow the steps for starting up a new iPhone:

How to Start iPhone:

The iPhone, iPod , iPad all have a power button on their top right corner, pressing it for 2 to 3 seconds, displays an apple icon on the display. This signifies that you have successfully started your new iPhone.

Where to insert SIM card:

In your iPhone there is SIM Tray located on the right side. For taking out the SIM card follow the steps below:

1. Its simple, you have to insert the end of a paper clip or SIM eject tool into the hole on the SIM card tray.

2. Push firmly, straight in until the tray pops out.

3. Pull out the SIM card tray and place the SIM in it.

4. With the tray aligned and the SIM card on TOP, carefully replace the tray.

5. If it does not close properly apply a downward force on it.

Once you are done, the screen will automatically display SIM card inserted.

Setting up iPhone:

Before you can use iPhone, you must set it up in the iTunes. During setup, you can create a new Apple ID or specify an existing Apple ID for making purchases with iPhone. iPhone also record the serial number of your iPhone in case you need it.

To set up iPhone:

1. Download and install the latest version of  iTunes.

2. Connect iPhone to a USB 2.0 port on your Mac or PC using the cable that comes with the iPhone.

3. Follow screen instructions and your device is set up.
